Xtreme Outdoors – 3 & 4 March 2012

The Hyderabad Centre of Krav Maga India organized an outdoor training for the students of the centre on March 3-4, 2012.

Attended by 14 enthusiastic practitioners, the team, led by their Instructor Ajit Varma, travelled to the outskirts of the city to hold an overnight training camp and to train in Krav Maga under realistic conditions.

The first ever event of its kind in the city, “Xtreme Outdoors!” as it was called put the practitioners through various drills like:

  • Timed Obstacle Courses, to include:
  •      a) Commando Net drills
         b) Bridge crossing
         c) Rock climbing
         d) Timed completion of an Obstacle Course
         e) Vertical / Horizontal rope climbing techniques

  • Krav Maga training in dusk conditions in full training gear
  • Krav Maga training under darkness in full training gear
  • 2.7 km run
  • 2 hours of strenuous Rugby drills, trained by the trainer of the Indian Rugby team
